Book-keeping Services
The general day-to-day paperwork involved and generated by running your own business can become overwhelming and incredibly time-consuming. Our book-keeping service is perfect for keeping track of and recording your income and expenditure, freeing you up to concentrate on other aspects of your business.
We can act as your virtual accounts department, preparing and sending statements to your customers and producing remittance advices for your suppliers. In fact, we can do as much or as little as you need. However, by letting us take on all the functions of your accounts department, you can greatly save on employment costs, such as holiday, sick pay and Employer's National Insurance etc.
Our book-keeping service is normally run through the TASBooks programme, which is very similar to Sage, but gives clearer reports and is more flexible to use. The management reports can be tailored to give you the information that will help you make management decisions for your business. For example, regular reports can show seasonal variations or highlight potential problem areas.
If you prefer to carry out your own book-keeping, we are happy to accommodate your preferences and can provide support and advice should you need it.

Outsourcing - a service to other practises
Rather than employ permanent staff to look after your clients' basic book-keeping and payrolls, you may have considered or even used an overseas outsourcing service. Many companies have found this not as cheap as it first appeared. A lack of knowledge of British tax and business regulations and the problems of long-distance communications, have lead to breakdowns in workflow, stress and frustration over poor work and delays and even loss of clients. Can you really afford this?
We are proud to offer you an alternative solution. We may not be as cheap as some overseas companies quote, but we are reliable, knowledgeable and local. We are also registered under the Money Laundering Regulations and Data Protection. We use up-to-date software and can complete any work up to full audit standard if required. We act as a payroll bureau and are fully up to speed with the CIS regulations and procedures.
Confidentiality is guaranteed - we would never contact your clients directly unless you specifically instructed us to do so and only then in the manner you direct. Document security is assured as we can collect work to be done and return it personally, if required. Our company code of ethics would ensure that we would never consider trying to "poach" your clients, as your practise would be deemed our client.
If our service could be of interest to you, Sue would be pleased to visit you and discuss your needs, and how we could help. This would certainly be a no-obligation meeting but may well prove to be of mutual benefit.
