Here at Jackson-Scott we understand that the legislation relating to CIS can be complicated and time consuming to some and we take great pride in being able to relieve this responsibility.
As a contractor you are no doubt aware of your responsibility to provide and keep accurate records of any subcontractors you may use. This can be a time consuming and confusing chore for many people and is often ignored by those who really just want to 'get on with the job'.
The monthly returns can also be difficult. If you're not completely comfortable with the Internet and are not prepared to spend your valuable time on the telephone to the Revenue, how will you "verify" your subcontractors? Do you have all the correct information? Are you convinced they fit the legal parameters to be self-employed?
Then there are the statements you need to provide for the subcontractors you use. These need to be supplied monthly and with the correct deductions made.

Our fees are very competitive for this type of work, and can start from as little as £25.00 + VAT per month for up to five subcontractors.
We can also help out with any payroll issues you may have and are able to provide a complete, individually tailored package to suit your needs.
We offer and provide the following for all Contractors:
- Verification of sub-contractors with HMRC.
- Spreadsheets for you to enter required sub-contractor payments.
- Calculation of tax to be deducted and paid over to HMRC.
- A detailed statement for each sub-contractor used.
- Forwarding of statements directly to sub-contractors if required via post, fax or email.
- Complete and forward Monthly CIS Returns to HMRC.
- Representation with Inland Revenue on your behalf in all matters concerning your CIS returns.
- Worker status review and guidance.
- Plus support and guidance throughout.
